More InformationThe National Park Festival in Mallnitz is celebrating its 20th anniversary. We uphold tradition, and the municipality of Mallnitz, the Hohe Tauern National Park, and the many clubs of the mountaineering village jointly organize a festival. Ceremony with the tapping of the beer barrel at 1:00 PM, live music “Just the 3 of us”
For the anniversary festival, visitors can once again expect a varied program with live music, culinary delights, crafts, and traditional customs – such as the performances of the Schuhplattler groups “Die Ankogler”, “Die Göriacher” and the “Hüttenkogler” from Bad Gastein.
A special highlight again this year is the competition “Traditionskapazunder”, where traditional Schuhplatteln, skill, and humor are required. Guests are also welcome to participate.
Note
The Ankogelstraße L8 will be closed to all traffic in both directions between the Alpina Apartments and the Seebachbrücke I | (Florettabrücke) due to the 20th Mallnitz National Park Festival on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the end of the event (but no later than 12:00 a.m.).
For this reason, the following one-way regulations will apply:
1. Direction Tauern or Seebachtal – Ankogelbahn:
Road in front of Mallnitz Apartments – Villa Talheim – Marktlbrücke – Liesgelebrücke or further towards staff houses
2. Direction train station:
via Weinstraße
